We are thrilled to share the success of one of our clients, who was married to a U.S. citizen and faced a complex journey toward obtaining permanent residency. Initially, our client needed to secure a J-1 waiver from the U.S. Department of State to proceed with their immigration plans. After successfully obtaining the waiver, we prepared and filed both the immediate relative petition for the spouse and the adjustment of status (green card) application.

Thanks to our meticulous preparation, USCIS processed the application swiftly and approved it without delay. Our client is now a proud lawful permanent resident (green card holder) and can live and work freely in the United States.

Looking ahead, our client will need to apply for the removal of conditions on their green card, as the marriage was less than two years old at the time of approval. However, they are excited and counting down the days until they can apply for U.S. citizenship through naturalization.
